25 Ha strategic greenfield site, planning promotion and a planning application for c280 new aspirational homes and new sports and community facilities by Ballymore with Landowner.

The projects vision is: to complete and enhance the outstanding character of Hadleigh through the creation of a new area of sport, amenity and living, in a generously landscaped setting through development of new homes for the people of Hadleigh, their children and those who aspire to join the Hadleigh Community. This will be achieved through outstanding master planning, exemplar architectural and technical detailing, forward thinking environmental performance standards, and secure arrangements for the perpetual care and maintenance of the place and facilities which we create.

Project Wesley Brief (PWB) encompasses the refurbishment of an existing Church to improve its thermal performance, provide new multi-purpose community accessible accommodation, through enabling development comprising affordable residential accommodation (approximately 20 apartments) and a Utility Node (UN).   BIPV technology systems will be applied to the development and the Project will be developed in conjunction with an European Commission (EC) funded machine learning platform pilot project.  The Project is located in the 5th most deprived LA area in England based on rank (2019).

The EC UNO Project pilot examines the maximisation of smarter and cleaner power generation of cost-effective and technologically proven building-and infrastructure-integrated photovoltaic installations by installing these technologies in the Project. UNO shall pave the way for a wider application of machine learning to PV systems, thus establishing a shorter path towards clean and sustainable electricity consumption. For this purpose, UNO will develop a predictive model of building- and infrastructure-integrated PV (BIPV) systems twinned with a machine learning platform coupled with digital and electronic tools. Machine learning algorithms shall provide power generation performance predictions and shall detect power use faults in building-integrated photovoltaic thermal (BIPV/T) and cooling (BIPV/C) systems under high efficiency and economic viability criteria. The model will use publicly available material for next day prediction accuracy to allow valuable results and next day forecasts to be worked out and applied. It is anticipated this approach will increase power harvesting and commercial DR measured by several economic, environmental, and social Key Performance Indicators. UNO will test its model with its machine learning platform and tools and paired with a mobile application will be pilot tested in a series of diverse pilot BIPV demonstrations in the United Kingdom over a period of 12 months.
